Training Global Leaders Who Serve

- Global Leadership Camp Held with Good Neighbors

 

 

 

 

From January 27 to 29, the Yonsei East-West Research Institute Leadership Center hosted the Global Leadership Camp with the NGO Good Neighbors. The camp was first held in 2010, and it is designed to develop leadership skills for high school students. The goal is to train the next generation of global leaders who can contribute to actualizing world peace and social development through sharing and service.

 

The theme of this year’s camp was “Sustainable Development Goals for Everyone.” Experts with relevant experience gave special lectures to the students, while Yonsei’s Leaders Club, which is supported by the Leadership Center, gave presentations on their club activities.

 

One student who participated in the camp, Kim Yu-jin, expressed her desire to bring the experience to bear on her high school studies, saying: “I would like to put into practice various lessons learned from this camp in the new school semester.”
