700 International Students Enrolled at Yonsei for Spring Semester
-Spring Orientation Held
 
 
 
 
The number of international students enrolling at Yonsei continues to rise. This semester, the university is welcoming more than 700 exchange and visiting students from around the world.
 
Between February 24 and 27, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) hosted an orientation for new international students as part of its Study Abroad at Yonsei(SAY) program. During the orientation, students were given important information related to academic services, campus life, alien registration cards, and using the library. Yonsei Global (YG) also offered various programs for the students as part of its First Step to Korea (FSK) program.
 
 
 
Students Enjoy Sightseeing in Seoul
 
On February 25, 240 international students went on sightseeing tours of Seoul; some of the sites visited included Gyeongbok Palace, Gwanghwamun, and the National Assembly. In the evening, they were treated to a tour of the North Seoul Tower at Namsan. The participating students expressed their satisfaction with the sightseeing and their excitement for the new semester.
 
According to an OIA staff member: “We continue our efforts to become an even more attractive and supportive learning venue for international students. We believe that international students are drawn to Yonsei due to the excellent international education and outstanding global leadership. Our new motto is ‘Leading the Way to the Future’.”
