Winter Abroad at Yonsei 2015-2016

 

 

This year’s Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY) is taking place between December 28 and February 15 on the Sinchon Campus. WAY is organized by the Division of International Education of the Office of International Affairs, and this year, 320 students are registered, marking a 27% increase from last year.   

 

The WAY students represent more than twenty different nations, with significant numbers from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. Some of the courses offered this winter include: Principles of Macroeconomics, Strategic Management, Financial Accounting, Korean Development, Modern Korean Literature, and Introductory Psychology.

 

 

Korean language and Taekwondo classes are offered for international students, and there are a variety of extracurricular events, activities, and excursions. This year, a number of WAY students took part in a ski trip and a DMZ tour. According to surveys completed by this year’s participants, their overall satisfaction with the program is quite high, particularly in regards to the campus facilities and the quality of courses.
