2. General Qualifications
1) Applicants should have at least one year of research experience after obtaining Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
(exceptions are noted in the table above)
2) Applicant must be legally eligible to work at a private university in Korea.
3) Applicant must agree with the general Christian principles espoused by Yonsei University
4) A certain number of credit hours must be dedicated to courses taught in English
3. Required Documents
1) Two copies of completed application form and one copy of statement of religious background
2) One copy each of diplomas and official transcripts(with GPAs) of undergraduate and graduate programs
(for each institution attended)
3) Two copies of the list of research activities (prescribed form) (publications, exhibitions and performances)
and one copy of the abstract for the representative research(es) 
4) Copies of publications (or equivalent documentation for exhibitions and performances) since March, 2007
and one copy of doctoral dissertation
5) Letters of recommendation in sealed and signed envelopes (1 copy of each)
(applicant's full name and area of expertise must be specified in the letter).
* Applicants to clinical faculty position at the College of Medicine and Wonju College of Medicine should
provide a recommendation letter describing their clinical abilities (e.g. overall clinical experience,
medical recording capabilities, and communication skills).
6) For College of Engineering only: professional experience preferred.
Submit portfolio giving detailed description of professional experience and qualifications.
Those with more than 4 years of professional experience must submit a list of publications related
to the Ph.D. Dissertations
7) For College of Medicine and Wonju College of Medicine: one copy each of professional certificates
8) For Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Wonju College of Medicine only: one copy each of
official certification of work experience
9) For Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Wonju College of Medicine only: one copy each of
personal statement and research/teaching plan (Each statement should be under 2 pages in length.)

Results of the recruitment of new faculty members will be posted on the University website after November 2010.
