As the first university in the nation to have offered degrees in music, life at Yonsei is pleasantly punctuated by quality on-campus performances, notably the free Sang-Nam Noon Concerts, which feature world-class musicians and equally superb faculty performers from the College of Music. (The Sang-Nam Noon Concerts are funded by the College of Business and Economics.) The Centennial Hall Auditorium is a favorite venue for full-scale classical music concerts, while the Luce Chapel frequently hosts high-quality church music concerts. Occasionally, from the Amphitheater, situated next to the Chongsongdae Woods, throbbing rock music roars out to entertain those music lovers with less exacting taste. Additionally, the Amphitheater also lives up to its name when the amateur Yonsei Theatrical Company, whose former members include some prominent professional actors and actresses, offers its excellent fare.

Aside from the concerts and theatricals, the University Museum hosts exhibitions throughout the year, sharing its rich collection of treasures in Korean history, archeology, natural history and history of medicine, as well as fine arts.
