The Department of International Relations was founded in 1992 to meet the growing need for education and training in the field in the era of globalization. The courses offered are designed to help students broaden and deepen their knowledge of international politics, comparative politics, international political economy, and research methodology. The course of study also aims to train students for area studies with a focus on Northeast Asian countries.
