Academic Information Center
Social Welfare Center provides a service that is according to the Yonsei vision “Serve society with sacrifice and love with truth and liberty.” We provide professional social welfare service to local residents who need help. For students in social welfare, psychology, children, and education related majors, the center helps to enhance the quality of education by providing direct field experience. The center also opens opportunities for faculty and students to participate in community service. The center’s objective is to fulfill the values of Yonsei University which is to love thy neighbor and share the spirit of service.
The Social Welfare Center has been run from January 3 1996 as a facility consigned by the City of Seoul. It was registered as a school affiliation under the Social Welfare and Culture Affair Operation Committee on July 27 1999.
